The same could be said of Smallpocks.
While racism still exists. Studies tend to show that when wealth is accounted for... everybody tends to end up in the same place. Race isn't something that is going to largely effect someone being successful outside of a few fringe examples.
Most people who are racist by in large have no power. In part this may explain actually why they are racist.
