BBC Watchdog. PS3 YLOD just been on.

It looks to be a micro fracture fault on the mainboard.

Basically YLOD = RROD

This seems to come back to the lack of use of lead free solder coupled with a lack of adequate cooling.

Can someone tell me is the lead solder use illegal for environmental concerns or was it a commercial decision.
