I agree with Patcher and the retailers have no one to blame other than themselves. The damage caused by second hand games (amongst other things) has placed many developers in financial difficulty and the PSPGo may help alleviate this. With Sony offering such a large percentage of the revenue to the devs they may actually find making a profit much easier. This hopefully translates to more support for the product as risks are reduced.
Patcher is spot on with "Retailers have to face the fact that games will be increasingly offered over Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, and cope with the outcome."
Maybe if retailers looked to offer developers a cut of second hand games or greater margin on initial sales they could avoid this issue.
