Yeah, despite my picks against them I was rooting for OAK & BUF as well. Particularly BUF who, imho, deserved the game far more than NE did. But even one man (ie a returner who can't take a knee...or even just hold onto the ball when you know they're coming for it) can screw it up for the whole team.
As they say, great teams find a way to win...even if that means relying on your opponents to do something stupid =P
