20 years from now, I will still remember FF7 for what it did to the RPG genre and Playstation system. I will still cringe when I think of Aerith dying, and I will be able to hum One Winged Angel in my head. I will still think of Sephiroth as one of the coolest vllains in a video game. I will always remember the music to Junon, or when Cid finally gets his airship working, or when Rufus meets his bitter end. I will always remember the grind to get Final Attack Materia to AP status.
I'm sorry, but as great of a game Persona 4 is, it will not have any of this kind of staying power. It's almost a disservice to even compare this game.
