They would of had to support one of the Japanese Giants, (in this case, Toshiba) to support one of the HD formats. There was no way that M$ was gonna do this tho, as they wanted both of them to fail miserably so it would pave the way for their DDL & monopoly goals.
I think the future will have both physical media and DDL co-exsisting. if we just have DDL, we will miss out on so much convenience, re-sales, 2nd prices and cheap deals giving the SW giants more power over us. Not good. Blu-ray FTW!
