Persona 4 would have made a great anime, but it makes a stunning mediocre game because the actual gameplay is just plain boring.

As someone who played 75 hours of this game, I personally have to disagree with you.  I have played P4 more than FFX and FFXII

What did you enjoy?  Keep in mind that gameplay doesn't include the story or the characters.
