And this is a problem I have with some posters here, they aren't fair about a situation. I have no problem with people objecting to this score, or the circumstances surrounding it, but some of those same people were dead silent when inFAMOUS received a 71 from THIS SAME REVIEWER. All I'm saying is, be real about it... |
I guess MSMS and NSMS is just as severe as "SSMS" (Sony Selective Memory Syndrome). It really should just be called CFSMS - "Console Fanboy Selective Memory Syndrome."
I don't doubt UC2 will be a great game. It's whether Sony can market it properly, which is the weakest link. That's where I think 90% of the games have been underhyped - from Sony themselves. Just talking about it at conventions is only going to reach fanboys that keep track of gaming news. You really have to advertise it - in many cases spending as much as the development budgets themselves - in the marketing of the game.
"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY." --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials
