Crazy taxi - I'd like to disagree, CT is one of the only games (the other being powerstone, which i'll get to in a second) that had me returning to my DC every few months. there flat out is nothing else like it that i know of, not to mention that some of the music in that game feels so unique to it. Perhaps its the charm = personal preference thing again, but meh - i love crazy taxi, and its a dam shame there hasnt been a new one since CT2.

If you're interested, there actually is a a Crazy Taxi 3 on original Xbox. I though it was OK, but the maps don't compare to the first 2.

fair enough, wasnt aware of 3. but a quick look up of it shows what you noted - it in no way compares to the original 2. It doesnt seem to add anything new, but more of the same.

sadly enough - thats what i would expect from a new entry into the series. the game was...unique, but limited in its design, so aside from a new town and a small batch of added content, i cant see what "new" can they add to the series. Though i guess that just reinforces my opinion of the first one.

Yeah I agree, frankly not every game needs 50 sequels. I'm glad they left it where they did. Perhaps in 10 years we can get a nice remake, but as it stands the first 2 pretty much take the concept as far as it will go. Thank you Sega for letting me keep my happy memories of CT by not pulling a Tony Hawk and pissing out a new version every year.
