I played Tales of Symphonia once. By the end of it, I was done. It took real effort to make myself finish that game.
I played Tales of Symphonia 2 once as well. I wasn't as disappointed with it as I was with the first one, but the stuff you can carry over really doesn't motivate me to replay it. I mean, so you can carry over abilities and powers and stuff... that's kind of nice. It's not like Chrono Trigger where there are a bunch of endings that basically require New Game + to get. All it pretty much becomes is an already easy game becoming even easier. Yay...
There's just not enough stuff to warrant a second playthrough.
