After FFXIII and GT5 were all out of system sellers, correct?

Well it all depends on what sort of system sales pattern you put under the system seller umbrella.

Game leads to a sustained (at least >1 month - this is itself debateable) lift in HW sales: Well I dunno if there are any of these left. FFXIII might do this in Japan. Would GT5 really have this effect on WW sales? Possibly if the timing is right, but if it's for release late this year then it will bump into the natural holiday sales lift and it would be hard to separate out the slim effect from the price cut effect from the GT5 effect. I don't understand the Kingdom Hearts love but this game should convert last gen fans of the franchise into this gen fans if they aren't here already. If it's exclusive then natuarlly that console will get all the converts.

Game leads to a significant spike in sales that lasts a few weeks at least: I think there are more than a few of these still to come. I'd like to hope for a Jak title on PS3 as fitting in this category. Unfortunately R & C didn't seem to have a big effect so maybe Jak wouldn't be as big as I would hope for. OTOH we have a cheaper PS3 and Jak IV would be a bugger game than R&C:Tools was, which seemed like about 3/4 of a full R&C game length/content-wise. I definitely see both GoWs in this camp, but the PS3 with more potential to crioss into the other camp than the 360 one. Not quite sure how the 360's GoW is meant to do much more than a 1 week spike given there are already 2 games in that franchise on the 360; bundled with some special sku maybe?

It really comes down to new IPs that capture the attention of a wide gaming audience yet to get into this gen (unlikely), or solid IPs from previous generations that have yet to have their first relaese this gen
