no it wouldn't be because Fisher would have already sabotaged the thing and it would blow up in a mess... People seem to forget that Fisher not only has more training he's also got the better hand to hand combat... in stealth Sam wins... in face to face Sam wins... the great equalizer? Guns

Snake also wins hands down in weapons.

When Sam Fisher has been through even HALF of what Solid Snake has been through... then they should be compared seriously.

You know... CQC is roughly analogous to the Israeli hand to hand training...
