used games sells does = piracy when it comes to debates.

Piracy & DRM & reselling used games have been around since C-64/Atari days. The reason it's such a big issue now is again the high cost of developing games and the fact that some publishers are having more trouble producing a profit.

"when it comes to debates" But not in reality or something? What do you mean by that?

Also, you quoted that article as if it supported your point ... but it doesn't.  Either through fact or through opinion.

I've posted  that article because it has two other links to both sides: publishers & gamestop. And yes it does prove my point that high developing cost is becoming a huge factor with both console And PC gaming.

... Well, it does link to other news articles, that's true.  But the article you posted:
-- Vehemently disagrees with "used games sells does = piracy" and gives an argument against that opinion.
-- Does not say anything in support of "it's such a big issue now", let alone that the reasons are "the high cost of developing games and the fact that some publishers are having more trouble producing a profit" (even if one or more of these is true)

So no it doesn't "prove your point".

I  disagree. In fact if you notice one article referring to consoles is leaning more toward digital downloads just as the PC has in recent years.
