@Zucas. Capitalism and socialism are only extremes when applied exclusively. A more moderate economy (look at Western Europe for what I mean) takes many aspects of both.
And before the Americans rip my head off for calling Western Europe moderate rather than Socialist - I would look at how America stands compares to the rest of the developed world on the economic scale. The rest of the western world is more socialised than you are.
