PS360 are obsolete too, you know, and have been for a while.  The difference is that in the case of PCs, you have the option to upgrade, even though it's not necessarily required.

Yes, the PS3 and 360 are obsolete and have dated hardware. But for the full console lifecycle, developers will be developing for that obsolete and dated hardware, whereas with a PC, you may have just bought the NVIDIA GeForce 6600, and then a year later you won't be able to run any games until you get the latest hardware, the NVIDIA GeForce 6700 or 6601 or whatever.

Nowadays you can get a PC for $400 that plays games much better than PS3 and 360 ever could. PC gaming is cheaper than HD Console gaming right now.

Your argument is terrible and crappy.

First, you can easily plug your PC into your HDTV and sit on your comfy couch.

Second, or you can buy a comfy office chair, like any PC gamer with a brain does.

Third, Steam is your friend (and many other DD services). With Steam (and other DD services) you will never have to worry about fiddling with patches, installs and many things that can go wrong with PC installs.

 

I just shot down your 3 main reasons against PC gaming.

  1. I'm not going to bother responding to this point because you didn't bother reading the next paragraph.
  2. I'd rather spend the money on my comfy couch.  I've neve sat in an office/desk chair as comfy as even some of my worst couches.  I'm sure there are incredibly comfy desk/office chairs out there but they also cost a lot of money or I either just won't use them enough to justify it.  Plus, I sit in an office/desk chair all day, why would I want to come home and sit in one to relax?
  3. True, but not every game is on Steam.

So, no, you didn't just shoot down my 3 reasons.  Stop assuming everyone has the same hard on for PC gaming you have.  I hate PC gaming and your endless ranting about how great it is isn't going to change that just like my endless ranting about console gaming will never change your mind.

Stop assuming your opinion is the only one and try respcting other peoples opinion.  You've gotten to a point where you're simply a joke on these boards because you are one of the most close minded people I've ever seen.  Nobody takes anything you say seriously.
