I think the problem with this debate is that one man's conception of PC gaming is different to someone else's. Yes it's true that you can hook a wii remote up to a PC, but that requires a level of expertise that a normal person does not have. If you want to bring technical expertise into the debate to prop up the PC side, then we could turn the whole argument around and say that a real technological expert could modify a console to give it many of the advantages which a PC supposedly has.

When talking about PC gaming, I mean the kind of gaming you get from a PC with a normal level of expertise, I think it's the only sensible way to approach the debate. And exclusives are relevant because they dictate the kind of games you can play on the respective platforms. When talking about gaming on a Nintendo console you don't just think of the hardware, you think of the games; it's part of the whole package.

I higly doubt you will be able to mod your console to play gfx on better levels or use mods or any of that stuff outside of homebrews.

Well, to be honest I have no idea what I'm talking about on that front. But I simply imagined that it must be possible to open up your console and adda few bells and whistles and after a bit of tinkering it can do a load of stuff that it couldn't do before. I think the main problem with my line of argument here is the classic 'Ship of Theseus' problem: when does it stop being a console?
