On top of what? It's been on the top for me since it launched, and it's still on top since it's tracking better than what the 360 did at the same time in its lifetime and that's what any fanboy needs to look at when comparing success, and also stop the ridiculous argument that goes "oh oh, but Sony was an Empire and now they're 3rd, so Sony already lost no matter what and M$ won no matter what", 'cause that's just major bullshit. The PS brand is stronger as ever with currently 3 systems on the market, so most people are playing a Sony console one way or the other, and it'll stay on top of their preferences for next-generation too. A 22 year old gamer grew up gaming on a PlayStation, not all of them of course, but it's a fact the PlayStation brand is to this people what Nintendo was for older gamers.
