I think these rumors of a Wii price drop is interesting, because asked a just a couple months ago I didn't think they would this year. It's obviously because the Slim looks like it may do a lil better than everyone expected. No one has hit the panic button yet but but they are looking at it in the corner.
Oh and on topic maybe media and buzz wise but the PS3 will not be on top this gen ever. It has a remarkable fight just to beat X360 (which I personally believe will not happen)
