Well those games (GTA series) each had different stories with new characters ( and some old) which kept each game fresh with good (not great) storytelling. Where as L4D really didn't have a story at all. It was you start here, 20 seconds later meet a boomer, 2 minutes later meet a smoker then a hunter, a mob of zombies, then a witch, activate something that sends a mob of more zombies, then a safe house, read stuff on a wall, get ammo, rinse and repeat until you call for help, then you defend until help comes. Then do all that over again but on new maps and there you have it. You just beat L4D single player.

*facepalm*

Why, why would anyone play this game by themselves? You are completely missing the point and frankly what L4D is all about if you're playing this alone. Also, beating L4D on normal with 3 bots is not only offensively easy, but you miss out on the enjoyment of playing with human teammates.

Ok then what is the difference in playing L4D with humans and L4D2 with humans? You seen the previews. the new types of zombies in L4D2 are similar to those in L4D (some are new). melee weapons (which is used to easily fend off zombies up close) and ammo (Which can help and hurt you in some cases). Besides the gore, I don't see how they couldn't add this stuff through DLC( maps, weapons, characters, ect). Its bad enough there charging $50 for pretty much a L4D GoTY edition. I would like to know how Valve is going to support both games without trying to decrease the value of one.
