It's because Sony now understands how sweet it is to be playing a FPS with IR controls instead of the same old thumb on a stick method. They want to offer the same and they will see FPS support a lot after the transition (in 2017 LMAO that was funny). With Sony still playing copy-cat, I'm hoping that companies supporting Sony's new invention, revolution, ground breaking, original, creative wiimotes will make multi-platform games that will now be labeled PS3/Wii. Don't need HD on my Wii, but more FPS variety would be kind of nice.
