I think it needs to be on a console, and considering that all the suikodens have been on playstation consoles (excluding tiekries), it would be best served by being on the ps3.
Although, I think it would do even better by being multiplat and going 360/ps3. that way they can leverage more sales to make another one.
On a side note, anybody know why the majority of JRPG's are exclusives to one console? Perhaps this is why their sales are dwindling?
