I think most underestimate what the next wii will be. I think it will stick with motion control but as for media I honestly think both microsoft AND nintendo will by pass Blue Ray for 2 reasons mainly, one being BR is based around Sony (big No! for both) and secondly because both Microsoft AND Nintendo like to push Sont to the side when it comes to Sony trying to bring something"new" to the market" Look at it from a gamers perspective there is absolutely NOTHING that blue ray gives us compared to DLDVD as a gamer except for vast wasted space. I as most of a lot of my friends just see BR as niche product that wont last long. It'll either be DLDVD or a new flash based media with "unbreakable" protection. Though I wouldnt put it passed Nintendo and see them push with holographic media

"...the best way to prepare [to be a programmer] is to write programs, and to study great programs that other people have written. In my case, I went to the garbage cans at the Computer Science Center and fished out listings of their operating system." - Bill Gates (Microsoft Corporation)

"Hey, Steve, just because you broke into Xerox's house before I did and took the TV doesn't mean I can't go in later and take the stereo." - Bill Gates (Microsoft Corporation)

Bill Gates had Mac prototypes to work from, and he was known to be obsessed with trying to make Windows as good as SAND (Steve's Amazing New Device), as a Microsoft exec named it. It was the Mac that Microsoft took for its blueprint on how to make a GUI.
