Also if you copy and paste exactly in my opinion it is the same consciousness on your computer. There is nothing to distinguish one as an original - they are the same consciousness but they will diverge from the point of copying onwards. Also I do believe that if it was possible to upload my consciousness into a computer then yes, when I was about to die I would allow somebody to load me onto the computer. |
What if you weren't about to die.
What if it only worked around the age of 35 and then after that mild changes in biochemistry makes it impossible.
