Honeslty I think Sony is in the best posisition right now. PS3 hardware is far more superior to 360 and wii, so next gen maybe just add another cell processescor and differnt design and that basically it.
Nintendo however will have to make some type of HD console. Microsoft will most likely switch to blu ray. Sony will not have to make a brand new console but they will label it PS4 and it could sell alot... maybe
