But it doesn't need it. Have you heard anyone say anything bad about Crackdown? Ever? People want a sequel...

Well, a lot of people were saying bad things about it on release.  I don't remember if it was serious criticism or just PS3 fanboys attacking it, but I remember it taking a lot of flak.  I also remember quite a few saying that the only thing worthwhile was the Halo demo it came with. 

These days it only kind of makes sense that the people who would still talk about it are the ones who enjoyed it though.

Bollocks.  Everyone had fun playing Crackdown.
