Might be missing some anti-Nintendo talk, and the requisite rebuttals, but otherwise think we've covered all the bases here!
On topic, all personal opinion, exclusive or not my purchases for end of year are all 360 (Forza, ODST, L4Dead 2, Dragon Age Origins) save one (Uncharted 2, pending demo of multiplayer end of month). EVEN if I hadn't bought a 360 game this year (I have) that would still be a pretty good year for me. |
PC is a platform...not a console buddy.
|
That still makes a game on PS3/PC or 360/PC a multiplat.
|
It may be on two different platforms, but it is a console exclusive.
|
No, its a PC exclusive.
|
The PC stands alone. It isn't a videogame console. You have to rig a PC to be optimal enough for the games you want. Out of the big three consoles, the Xbox 360 is the only console that has it. The PC is in its own world.
|
It's still a multiplatform PC exclusive.
|
Do you know how moronic this is? It is exclusive to both Multiplatform, but is truly exclusive to the 360 because other platforms in its form cannot attain it. PC stands on its own. Most PC games are exclusives, and since when have they ever counted for anything when it comes to consoles? Final Fantasy VII was a console exclusive to the PSX. Are you going to strip that game of exclusivity because you fail to notice that PC isn't a videogame console? The exclusivity truly belongs to both platforms. You are showing brute ignorance. Why don't you just go and argue with TV commercials and banners for the 360 for games like Left 4 Dead 2 tell you Xbox 360/PC exclusive. On consoles it is exclusive to the 360 and on the PC it is exclusive, since it has nothing to battle against. I am done with this.

FF7 was multiplat... is was also on PC.
A game that is on 2 platforms... is multiplat.
I can play say... Mass Effect 2, on 2 different platforms. Hence, it is multiplat.
I dont get how you can call a game a 360 console exclusive, but im not allowed to call a game a PC exclusive. Double standards?
@themanwithnoname. No, i just hate this entire console "exclusive" bullshit.

It's because the PC version doesn't affect the console version. And before you say, well my sale is lost because I'll buy on PC. That is honestly not the case generally. In fact look at the dismal PC sales of a game on both and it's very clear that maybe 2000 sales at the most would be lost for the 360 version being on PC also? Look at COD4. It was embarrasing for PC in sales.
