Even if the PS3 outsells the 360 by 500k a week (which would mean it would have to be selling ~650k every week if 360 managed 150k), it would take until halfway through October to close the game to 4 million.
Assuming 350k gain this week, 100k gain next week, and a steady 100k gain until the beginning of November. Ps3 will have closed the gap to 6.8-7 million, this is being incredibly generous.
Last Nov / Dec, 360 sold 4.9 million while Ps3 sold 3.2 million
Assuming 360 remains flat yoy, Ps3 would need on average a 115% increase in weekly sales (2.15 times what it did last year) in order to close the gap to 5 million.

Is it enough to increase WW ps3 sales by over 100%? I don't think so. Maybe in Japan for 2 weeks.
