I am not happy, as a 60 gig owner, I fully expect my console to YLOD and I refuse to buy a no BC PS3. I think many people will be underwhelmed by the graphical improvements in God of War, as I doubt they will redo the entire games textures(keep in mind GOW 2 had a 720 p mode in the retail build and it wasnt that great). Trophy support will be enough for some to rebuy, but I would only care for re-releases of games that are overpriced on the free market(ICO).
I said this for ages now. While everyone that is in love with the PS3 slim was trumpeting the idea of software BC I always said the future was downloadable PS2 titles......and I was wrong. I do approve of the idea that the games are on disk, not DLC cause DLC games suck.
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.
