When you get a complaint from a government you change your ad; simple. That said govt was overreacting is clearly a matter of opinion. But rather than just change the ad I think Sony should explain that the line was meant to be a quip at people who believe anything they get through spam e-mail or the internet, not a derogatory swipe at Nigeria.
We all know that but obviously some people don't.
Lastly I think the WW1 comment is a bit ridiculous and isn't nearly as humerous as the original. The line could have just been "that's how wars get started" not WW1.
