I'll answer your question with a question. When did sony in their ad refrence all e-mail scams to anyone who lives in Nigeria? The answer is none. I'll ask another question. Is it true that there are e-mail scams saying you can become a millionaire in Nigeria? The answer is yes.

By Sony saying "You shouldn't believe everything you read on the internet or else I'd be a Nigerian millionaire" is an accurate and non-sterotypical comment now if they said "You shouldn't believe everything you read on the internet because all Nigerians go around sending e-mails to you that are just scams" is a sterotype.
