I agree that PC is getting out of hand, and often negatively affects race relations, you have to understand that you (Meaning any non-Nigerian website poster) don't know what it's like to live there. Maybe they are trying really hard to squash that kind of thinking, to bring in companies to HQ there and increase the living conditions of their people. Maybe they see this kind of off-handed refernce to a stereotype counterproductive to their efforts. I feel in a case such as that, they have an imperative to do something about it. Just because it's a commonly used stereotype that YOU feel is unoffensive doesn't mean someone else doesn't have the right to be offended.
