I can almost guarantee this will work like crap and you may use it once to try it then never use it again.  The EyeToy just doesn't work well without some big bright light to track, so if you are like the average adult and plays video games later in the evening in dimmer lighting, you're screwed.

Stop calling it EyeToy, it's Playstation Eye.

Oh I'm sorry.  They are so close to the same technology I interchange the two quite often.  PSEye it is, then.  And a maximum viewing angle of 75 degrees doesn't seem like much.  You can either set it to 35 degrees for close up chatting or something, and 75 degrees for farther away interaction.... also, it does not have any Infrared technology.

Basically it is an EyeToy that captures a bigger resolution and a better frame rate.
