Last year I got two XBL Gold cards for $28.99 each..

Newegg.com sells XBL for #39.99 year round.

And if you buy the Card instead of XBL you get 13 months or 12+1 months..

That gives you 13 months to find another deal on XBL Gold.

 

Amen.  Spent 34.99 on 13 Months of Live at Newegg last time I renewed. 

I agree with the op though, possibly shady sites = no sale for me.  Unless I here definitively that they are reputable.
