I switched back to xp from linux and it was a good move.

windows DON'T have the drivers.

the manufacturer supplied to the drivers, as in linux getting more support more drivers from third parties.

linux have all the drivers built in, and even includes .deb to some that aren't.

but microsoft hold deals with many manufactures and even some lock motherboards from linux (foxconn motherboard link any linux install into a fake ACPI config so it can't be installed, even if linux is perfectly capale of using a windows one. or mac one.

 

Uhh. Windows does not have the drivers, yes. But they do come on a disk which is a lot easier than trying to get HW to work if it does not work out of the box with linux.

No, linux does not have all the drivers built in or come with repositories which offer the drivers.
