Well Nintendo isn't trying to disprove evolution, or claim gays are sin. Pokemon and Tingle show they have full support of those.

Would Segata Sanshiro approve? BTW, which pokemon are you thinking of specifically? And not to disprove your example of Tingle, but, he is lured into his unfortunate circumstances by the promise of all the beautiful women he could want. Maybe that is just a beard, I don't know.
