For the centrepieces of the respective systems racing genre entries I'd be very surprised if there was a statistically significant difference in Metacritic score. There shouldn't be more than 1 or 2% difference and at that I'd call it even. Bragging rights will always go to the one who gets the higher score though. I think it's a bit of a lottery and it could go either way. If either game is lower than 95 on metacritic it would be a disappointment I think. GT games have cracked 95 on MC twice, however GT4 was the first full GT game to go below 90. Forza hasn't managed 95+ yet, but been in the 90s both times.
