Since all my games are for X360 unless they are exclusive games to another system. This really doesn't effect me at all. I will agree however that exclusives are not as common this year but we had a few good ones early on already. Star Ocean:TLH, Ninja Blade and Halo wars are all great games in my eyes. We still have Halo 3:ODST, Forza 3, Magna Carta 2 & Left 4 Dead 2. Thats an exclusive this year in a handful of genres at least. With Alan Wake, Fable 3 & Halo: Reach 2010 already has some nice exclusives on the way.

The fact is 2009 may be a bit weaker than previous years exclusive-wise but we had been spoiled a bit the past few years. Each system is weaker than most this year when looking at exclusives. Plenty of amazing multiplatform titles help fill the gaps though and with XBLA exclusives in there to help as well.

It's not all about the exclusives that matters but what you can play on the system as a whole that does. No matter which of the BIG 3 is your system of choice this gen there is a huge number of excellent exclusives/multiplatform titles that will satisfy any gamers needs. The most important thing is to look at the titles available as a whole for said platform along with the features the console offers and too decide on which one best fits your gaming needs/wants.

If you look hard enough you can see this year is a great year for gaming on X360 just as much as it was in 2005, 2006, 2007 & 2008. Same statement goes for the Wii and PS3 minus 2005 of course. Gaming is all about the experience not about which system has the most exclusives coming in a given year.

I see you are a huge gamer on your PS3. You and I are exact opposites I barely touch my PS3 yet its rare for a day to go by without me touching my X360. This is great example of how all gamers want a system that fits their own needs the best. So don't worry so much about the exclusives but worry more about how you are going to afford all the great games coming out on each platform you own instead.

How our favorite systems are just like humans and sometimes have issues finding their special someone...

Xbox 360 wants to KinectPS3 wants to Move!  Why are both systems having such relationship problems?  The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.
