And don't get me wrong Mario WAS great, you wouldn't believe the amount of hours I had in basically every Mario game before the N64. I just don't like how it is now. It's the same as Zelda I loved Zelda right up until the N64, if it wasn't for Playstation the N64 would of killed gaming for me.

What? It's still great. You didn't hate Mario, you just loved the PS1 so much the cast the N64 aside and tried to rationalize it.

SM64 IS amazing, Mario IS amazing. 3D didn't ruin anything, you just switched to the PS1.

No I tried Supermario 64, and didn't finish it, the controls and camera killed it for me, but it was mostly to different, call me old fashion but I prefered it as a platform. And I dont "Hate" mario (I mean he was practically my idol growing up lol) but I just don't like here he is now.

@big_boss, Yes the Wii is expanding the audience but seriously it's games is just embarrasing. Any time a decent looking third party exclusive goes to it, it pretty well bombs.

You're an idiot. PS1 had the analog sticks and buttons as well. You say you hate Ocarina of Time? What was the problem there? Poor controls? Horrible plot? Too many jagz0rz?

The PS1 was barely different in terms of gameplay for games.

You said that the reason was it was too different, yet the PS1's 3D graphics and different control style didn't faze you at all?
