Why doesn't Microsoft ever redesign it's consoles?

Regardless, the PS3 is still a massive machine. Hardly deserves the moniker Slim. Unless its used ironically, like calling a tall fat guy Tiny.

I saw a real slim at the shop for the first time this WE .. and it is my wife who said first : ''It looks plain dumb and it isn't that slim compared to the one we have at home"... okay
