If PS3 fills a decent part (for decent I mean more than half million bigger sales than XB360, for excellent I'd mean more than one million filled) of the gap from XB360 during September, things for Sony will be easier next Xmas. Sony is in a good position if it manages to fare well now, as next year cost difference between BD and DVD drives and between Cell and Xenon will be small enough to make a possible price war with MS not as devastating as if it happened before, a potentially deadly weapon in MS' hands is rapidly rusting.
