Actually there was a lot of teeth gnashing on this forum over those two ports. A lot of people used it as a way to Wii bash for a time, although I am uncertain if it was anyone even still on the forum. Resident Evil 4 was greatly enhanced by the control scheme, and had a graphics bump during the port. I don't know about Okami's controls (mixxed reviews) but it got a sequel made for the game. That is the best improvement for the game possible.
