As for the Colts, they've had some tough times with teams that shouldn't have been major opponents like the Texans. They've still pulled off wins, but when push comes to shove they don't exactly step up. The Patriots/Cowboys game showed that the Patriots can really step up the pressure when the game is on the line.

That's ignorant.  The Texans, like the Titans and the Jags, are in the same division as the Colts.  Division rivals always play each other stronger than they would in a normal game.  Difference in team ability means much less.  Their only close games are division games.  Every other team has been defeated by at least 2 possessions, and they all would have been beaten by more than that if the Colts weren't a conservative offensive team this year.  They don't waste talent or risk injury when they have obviously won the game by running up the score to make their stats look better.
