Only Sony redesigns their consoles. Microsoft and Nintendo do not need to redesign their consoles, they do not waste money on redesigning their console systems. Why change the design if there is nothing wrong with it?
Microsoft and Nintendo spend money on better investments such as new games, additional content, updates, downloadable content, etc.
