If you're actually planning on spending about $3,300 on a pre-built gaming system and all the user support an OEM system provides, I'd highly recommend taking a look at a Falcon Northwest system.
While their premium "dream" systems can run into the five figures, they start as low as $1,500 for their Core i7 based Talon systems.
If you have the cash and you want the best, Falcon Northwest quality is pretty much second to none.
