They aren't threatening anyone, they are just being open and frank about the situation. FPS sales are; Wii: 6.42M, Xbox 360: 53.81M Some people claim that the Wii is the ideal FPS platform, but the market doesn't support it. Shooter (third person + rail/arcade); Wii: 8.46M, Xbox 360 20.84M RPG; Wii: 4.88M, Xbox 360: 19.44M The market follows the money, and if the money isn't being made you'll see fewer releases its quite simple. If tomorrow some third party developer cracked the big one with a 5M+ selling FPS title on the Wii you'll see massive investment follow, but until that point its unlikely. Also with less competition, poorer titles will still do better in an underserved market so you can't use the reasoning that 'if only they release good games, the sales will come'. It doesn't work that way.

Why did you put third person and rail shotoer together?
Is it because your arbitrary numbers game makes the 360 look horrible in regards to rail shooters and points out the main flaw of your analysis?
That being of course that the 360 has many many times more 1st and 3rd person shooters then the Wii.
Afterall 360 has 50 or so shooters.
