I don't get the fans, do they want the game to sell well or do they want the best looking JRPG ever that fails as bad as the FF movie? It's an expensive game to make, the PS3 doesn't have nearly as much units on the market as the PS2 so it's incredibly risky especially if the game isn't appreciated as much as they hoped it would be. Two versions is much better then one, and on top of that the PS3 has sold less then the PS2 because many PS2 owners are currently on 360. They are just as much fan of the series as the PS3 counterparts. I though PS-fanmonkeys would be smart enough to shut up since the PS2 dumbed down an entire generation of games aswell.
