I agree, some publishers have a really lousy attitude when it comes to customer relations.
This particular test is flawed right from the start. If the original Dead Space had been a 'test' for the HD platforms, it would have been a failure, but this European VP expects the Wii to pass when the IP is moved to a different -- and heavily saturated -- genre in only its second outing? Seems like the Wii is being set up for failure here.
