I'm still marveling at the fact that this is still considered to be an issue...

Okay, so you got a game for your console and, suddenly, the company decides that they want to put it on another one. It makes sense that the later one has more because it was released later. But it's taken as a personal insult, so they gather their torches and pitchforks.

When, exactly, did the companies start making games with an intentional bias toward specific consoles? Did they sign a letter of intent sometime during this little turf war of next gen consoles that they would never make games for other consoles?

What would this amount to, anyways? I could just see the press release now...

"Dear 'valued customers'. It has come to our attention that we have offended some of our previous buyers by daring to attempt to expand our monetary success in regards to our game. So blindly we trudged forward in an attempt to bridge the gap into the untapped market but, alas, in doing so we have damned ourselves to ridicule for our mistake. To all of our buyers, we ask your forgiveness in our blatant attempts to make money and shall do our best to rectify our need for economic viability in this very competitive market."

Maybe I need more winks and nudges in there...
