wow, you who made this thread, what a dumb ass, give credit where its due, are you that blind, i like both systems but its idiots like you that make me hate the 360, the idiots that support them. come up with a real topic to debate

I've never actually said this but yeah it's 360 fanboy's making threads like this that make me hate the Xbox aswel. I mean do they know how dumb they sound with these topics. It's like they ignore the fact PS3 has sold 23.4 mil consols worldwide and Xbox 360 has sold 31.6 mil worldwide. Only 8 mil more than PS3 and the Xbox 360 was out 1 year earlier, selling on the HD market with no competition and a lot of advertisement for 1 whole year until Sony came along with there HD consol selling with very little advertisement. But yeah Sony's failing big time in the eyes of 360 fanboys

I have trouble understanding why anyone would hate a product because he/she disliked some of the people who own the product.  Would you hate steak because you read threads online from people you disliked who were fans of steak?  I like steak because it tastes good to me, not because anyone else likes or dislikes it.

I think a lot of people who are fans of the PS3 blame 360 fans for their 360 angst when actually there is a more subtle reason... when we make a choice and a larger group of people make a different choice, a little voice in the back of our heads tells us that perhaps we made the wrong choice, and that makes us defensive and more sensitive to negative comments regarding our choice.  That's just the way people are.

I'm more interested in the facts regarding consoles than in trying to prove to myself that I made the "right" choice... in fact, I will probably end up with all 3 eventually.  I've also noticed that there are several posters whose comments seemed to become less defensive when they ended up owning 2 or 3 of the consoles... it took the pressure off to justify to themselves that they hadn't made an expensive mistake.
