Alan Wake isn't a 2009 game though. If that were the case, HEAVY RAIN would have been my UNDISPUTED champ, as I've seen NOTHING that looks better than that.

The quality of an engine goes beyond how a game looks. The one feature you seem interested in is how a game looks and not how the engine behind it performs (correct me if im wrong here).
